Honest Work

There is a word called honesty

That's scarcely demonstrated

Its partner, work, extinct it seems—

All but eliminated

And where have these two friends now gone

Did cyber space delete them

Was it AI or DEI

That caused their light to grow dim

I think there is another Word

A Word we've not been reading

For if we had, we'd be so glad

Its truth we would be heeding.
