Beautiful Dreams

“Hope deferred makes the heart sick; but when dreams come true at last, there is life and joy.“  Proverbs 13:12

Isn’t it so beautiful how God plants dreams within the hearts of His people to accomplish His good purposes in this world?

As I look around, I see with such limited vision all that God is doing, yet even that limited view overwhelms me.  His love—so great.  His ways—so vast.  I do not understand the depth of it all, but I do know and experience His love for me each day.

Do you?

Do you know and believe in Jesus?  Do you fully trust Him with your life, forsaking the world around you?

God has stirred my heart and filled it with beautiful dreams of things to come, the things He promises in His Word.

I picture Him coming to my home, as an unexpected guest, and welcoming Him in, my Rabboni, my Great Master, to dine with me and my family.  I imagine Him asking for an account of the things done for His Kingdom, those tasks He has given me, though He already knows the account.  And, I imagine Him lovingly teaching me still more.

So. Much. More.

Hebrews 1:3 beautifully states, “God’s Son shines out with God’s glory, and all that God’s Son is and does marks him as God. He regulates the universe by the mighty power of his command. He is the one who died to cleanse us and clear our record of all sin, and then sat down in highest honor beside the great God of heaven.”

And, Joel 2:28, tells us, “After I have poured out my rains again, I will pour out my Spirit upon all of you! Your sons and daughters will prophesy; your old men will dream dreams, and your young men see visions.”

Has He stirred your heart with beautiful dreams of what is to come?

Come! Let us be about His beautiful business this day.

Goodnight, Runners.
