Finding Christ

Early on Sunday morning, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene came to the tomb and found that the stone had been rolled away from the entrance. She ran and found Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one whom Jesus loved. She said, “They have taken the Lord’s body out of the tomb, and we don’t know where they have put him!” John 20:1-2

Have you ever misplaced something precious?

Mary Magdalene did. It was very precious. It was something with immeasurable value.

It represented trust. It represented unconditional love. It represented salvation.

That precious something was the body of Christ.

She searched everywhere to find it.

Are you searching everywhere to find Him?

Proverbs 8:17 says, “I love all who love me. Those who search will surely find me.” And, in Hebrews 11:6, God promises to reward those who diligently seek Him.

There is nothing in all the world worth finding more than Christ.

May you search frantically to find a close personal relationship with Him today.
