Veiled Inflitration

"This matter arose because some false believers had infiltrated our ranks to spy on the freedom we have in Christ Jesus and to make us slaves." Galatians 2:4

We have underestimated our adversary.

He knew that a nation founded on God, His Son, Jesus, and teaching its children the truth of the Holy Bible would be unstoppable.  That is America's foundation.  That is American History.

So, he set about its destruction.

First, he would have to divide it.  The splintering began with pride and little nuances in the understanding of Scripture which gave birth to hundreds of Christian denominations—all based on Scripture.  It was like the fall of the Tower of Babel in Genesis 11.

But we still believed in God and had strong Christian families that prayed together and taught the Holy Bible in our schools.  So, he set about to destroy the foundations of faith in family, government, business, and schools.  This began with taking prayer and the Holy Bible out of schools.  Hindus and Muslims were elected to positions in our government, all in the name of acceptance, peace, and inclusion.  But it was much more sinister than that.

Next, he took control of all the major media networks in order to provide a steady diet of deceit, capturing the minds and hearts of children, instilling fear and lies in their distracted parents.  He took advantage of the sinful, greedy, and comfortable nature that had grown out of a misunderstanding of God's blessing.  We began sending our wealth to foreign lands, inviting in their foreign gods to corrupt our culture.  No longer did we require foreigners to practice American ways.  We succumbed to their ways, their languages, and accepted their anti-Christian practices.  We watch American companies fire Americans and hire foreigners to do their jobs every day.  We watch cities promote Sharia Law and Communism in America to destroy it.  America's largest city now has an openly Communist, Muslim Mayor.

Worst of all, we have allowed him to infiltrate God's Church, teaching the traditions of man rather than the truth of the Holy Bible.

Deuteronomy 8:10-11 warned the Israelites, and the same warning applies to America today, "When you have eaten your fill, be sure to praise the Lord your God for the good land he has given you.  But that is the time to be careful! Beware that in your plenty you do not forget the Lord your God and disobey his commands, regulations, and decrees that I am giving you today."

Just yesterday these things were unthinkable.  

But, there is hope!  The devil and his minions underestimate our God, Jesus Christ, Maker of Heaven and Earth, King of all Kings, and Lord of all Lords.

The Holy Bible tells us, and we know it to be true, "Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land" (2 Chronicles 7:14)."

There are some things we can do right now to stop our adversary:

1. Humble ourselves, repent, pray, seek God.  REALLY seek God.

2. Stop patronizing non-Christian businesses.  Seek out Christian businesses to support, from car repair to dry cleaning and everything in between.  Support every REAL Christian cause you can find.

3. Be courageous and call out those in love who claim the name of Jesus but don't follow Him.

4. Get involved in your local government and run for office.  Don't say it's not your "gifting".  Have you seen the competition?  It's not their gifting, either.

5. Help start new Christian churches.  This is the Great Commission.  It is central to the call of all believers (Matthew 28:19-20).

6. Encourage other believers in every way, especially to courageously take action.

7. Keep praying (Luke 18).
