Permanent Solutions and Temporary Problems

“For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever!“ 2 Corinthians 4:17

Are you feeling overwhelmed by pain, struggle, or hardship today?  If so, you should know you’re not alone.

You should also know that no matter how great the anguish you are facing today, it will change.  Circumstances and situations change, but God’s great love for you and for me never will.

The Holy Bible tells us in Romans 8:36-39, “Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? (As the Scriptures say, ‘For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.’) No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.  And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord” (NLT).

We shouldn’t consider permanent solutions for temporary problems.  We must claim the victory we indeed won when Christ gave Himself for us on the cross.

May we always remember how much He loves us, and hug someone close to you today.

Much love to you all, Runners.

Goodnight.
