Let Us Pray
"Never stop praying." 1 Thessalonians 5:17
Prayer changes things.
I couldn't possibly recount to you all of the amazing miracles I have seen God perform for myself and others as a result of prayer, but here are just a few: healing from a brain tumor, physical safety, relationships restored, healing from pancreatic cancer, meeting financial needs, meeting physical needs, meeting educational needs, protection in every way imaginable, and that's just the beginning.
The Holy Bible talks a great deal about prayer. Jesus set the example for us. Scripture tells us in Luke 5:16, "But Jesus often withdrew to the wilderness for prayer." He also gave us the example of how to pray in Matthew 6 in what we refer to as the Lord's Prayer. And He taught us how to fast in this chapter, too. He didn't say, "if you fast." He said, "when you fast."
May I ask you to join me in preparing our hearts and spending more time in prayer and fasting? I think you would agree that it is desperately and urgently needed in our world right now.
James 5:16 tells us, "Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results."
Let us pray.
Goodnight, Runners.
