Color the World

I want to take a marker
And color the whole world
To lighten up what’s darker
That love would be unfurled

I want to mark things yellow
Some purple, blue, and green
So every girl and fellow
Will know that they are seen

I want to mark compassion
On every human heart
And watch You as You fashion
Each wondrous work of art

Dear Lord, please take the darkness
And mark it up with bling
