Taking Stock

"Better is the end of a thing than its beginning, and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit." Ecclesiastes 7:8

As the year draws to a close and a new year dawns, it is time to take stock of how we've managed our allotment of time from the Master.

Have we given Him each day at the start?

Have we listened to His voice and obeyed Him?

Have we asked Him to expose areas of sin in our lives and repented?

Have we worshipped Him each day?

Have we minded our covenant relationships with God and with others?

Have we given freely as He has freely given to us?

Have we committed to shoring up the weak spots and interceding on behalf of our brothers and sisters in their need?

If we haven't done these things, let us commit to restoring the foundations of our souls through prayer, Bible reading, and lending a hand to our brothers and sisters in need this day to finish strong and begin the new year even stronger.

The Spirit and the Bride say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who desires take the water of life without price."  Revelation 22:17

Goodnight, Runners.
