Harvest Time
"Do you not say, ‘There are yet four months, then comes the harvest’? Look, I tell you, lift up your eyes, and see that the fields are white for harvest." John 4:35
In Luke 10:2, Jesus is talking, "And he said to them, 'The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.'"
It may be February, but it's harvest time. The fields are white unto harvest! Have you noticed this? Just this week, several people I have long prayed for made decisions to begin really following Jesus! Glory to God! I can think of nothing more worthy of giving Him praise as the angels rejoice with us (Luke 15:10).
Can we see Him working?
Or, have we become so comfortable within our own personal space that we fail to see anything that God is up to around us? Do we see the ones around us begging to know Jesus?
We have prayed for months and years for God to send revival to our land, but what about the ones ripe and ready for harvest right now?
Will you be a laborer in His harvest today? Will you encourage someone today with the Good News that Jesus saves? Will I do the same?
Here's my encouragement to us all. Tell someone what Jesus means to you, what He has done for you, and that He is real to you. Then, let the Holy Spirit do the rest.
