A Thanksgiving Prayer

Dear Father in Heaven

We thank You this day

We bow down before You

At Your feet we lay

All burdens we carry

Each thought of our heart

For You, omnipresent

Our Savior Thou art

May we wash Your feet with

The tears that we cry

Our tears of thanksgiving

Let no eye be dry

Until that sweet day when

We're summoned above

To dine in Your presence

To rest in Your love

Our Father in Heaven

All majesty Yours

Man's honor all due You

Earth's thanksgiving roars.
