Another Walk

I took another walk today
Escaping from my ease
And as I walked I heard my cares
Cavorting through the trees

This walk was in the morning time
Just me, myself, and I
And Jesus came—not quite the same
As other walks of mine

He whispered gently to me
Now that we were alone
He told me things I hadn’t thought
Some things I should have known

His love—it overwhelmed me
I finally understood
The vastness of His plan for me
Our God is, oh so, good.
