The Truth, The Whole Truth, and Nothing But The Truth

I stand here before you
My heart for to tell
The truth and the whole truth
That there’s Heaven and Hell

And, there’s oh so much more
From His Word for to share
And keeping it inside
I never could bear

The perfect One, Jesus,
Came down from on high
To show us His love
On a cross He did die

He took all my sins
And He took your sins, too
The perfect One, poured out
For me and for you

He rose on the third day
And gave us new life
Sweet vict’ry o’er death
And an end to this strife

Now, won’t you repent
Of your sins and believe
His free gift is waiting
For you to receive

It’s by grace through faith 
That He takes all our sin
Enabling us to 
Love others and Him.
