Plan for Making Godly Decisions

This is from Dr. Charles Stanley:

1. Clear your heart of any known sin.

2. Bring your desires to a position of neutrality.

3. Exercise patience. This is not simply to mark time, but to live in a confident expectation and anticipation of God’s actions on our behalf; to refuse to run ahead of Him, trying to solve our problems by ourselves.

4. Be alert to pressure. This can be external or internal. Trust God.

5. Persist in prayer.

6. Rest in God’s promises.

7. Wait for God’s peace. Colossians 3:15
