Rubber Baby Buggy Bumpers

But Moses again pleaded, "Lord, please! Send anyone else."  Exodus 4:13

Rubber baby buggy bumpers . . . that tongue twister always stumped me. Can you say it three times fast? I'm guessing that Moses probably couldn't say it three times fast. The Holy Bible tells us that not only did Moses get tongue-tied, but he was more humble than any man on earth (Numbers 12:3). God called Moses to lead the people of Israel out of their slavery and bondage in Egypt. But, Moses resisted God's call. He didn't feel he was good enough for the job. He tried every excuse in the book, even pleading, "Lord, please! Send anyone else."

Do you ever resist God's call on your life? Do you feel as though you're not good enough for the job? Perhaps you think someone else is better suited for the position He is calling you to. Do you beg God to send anyone but you?

Moses' response caused God's anger to burn against him. His disobedience eventually led to Moses missing out on the blessing of entering the Promised Land.

When Paul had the same issue, the Holy Bible tells us in 2 Corinthians 12:9, God responded, "Each time he said, 'My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.' So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me."

Don't miss out on God's Promised Land for you. May you allow God to work through your weakness today.
