Choosing the Best
"This is what the LORD says—your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the LORD your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go." Isaiah 48:17
Do you ever have trouble making choices? Sometimes I don't see the longterm results of choices I make. Or, do you ever have difficulty choosing what is best?
This verse promises us that we have a God who teaches us what is best for us, and directs us in the way we should go. If we're having difficulty making good choices it is because we are out of fellowship with our loving Heavenly Father.
Psalm 32:8 tells us, "The Lord says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you."
God wants us to make the best choices, and He will show us exactly what those are, if we will only spend time with Him through Bible study and prayer.
May you grow in fellowship with your Heavenly Father today, and may He guide you along the best pathway for your life--now and forever.
