HE IS RISEN!

My uncle, Alan Cliburn, is one of my favorite authors.  He has inspired me to write (although I've only published one story at age 10--with his help).  He has also inspired me in his love for Christ and his unshakable devotion to walking with Him.  Following is his poem entitled, Jesus is Risen:

I don’t need a calendar
To tell me when it’s spring
All I do is look around
Or see a bird on wing.

And with all the flowers blooming,
Somehow my nose knows
Winter’s gone, spring is here,
Time to pick a rose!

But when it comes to springtime,
Easter’s the best part.
I don’t need a calendar
The risen Jesus lives in my heart!
